Supplies for this Bible Verse Easter Egg Craft:

Bible verse Easter egg craft supplies:  template, scissors, tape, crayons, and gemstone stickers.

For this simple Bible verse art project for Easter Sunday you will need the following craft supplies:

– The Free Egg Template (found near the end of this article)

– Crayons or Colored Pencils

Scissors

Scotch tape

– Optional: Gemstone stickers or other fun items to decorate the eggs with.

How to Make a Bible Verse Easter Egg Craft:

First, print our your egg template onto white paper. If you want to make it a little more sturdy, you might like to use card stock paper.

Have your child color the egg and decorate it however they like.

You might encourage them to make patterns on the egg like stripes, dots, hearts, a cross, etc.

Once they have decorated the egg, have them cut out the egg.

They will also need to cut the zigzag line to separate the egg halves.

If you have gemstone stickers or other items to decorate the egg with, they can add those now as well.

Now it’s time to add the Bible verse!

Younger children can cut out one of the Bible verse strips provided with the template.

Older kids might enjoy writing their own Easter scripture cards.  I’ve provided some blank cards for your older students who want to choose their own Easter Bible verses to share inside the egg.   

Once the scripture page is cut out and ready, have the kids fold the scripture verse to fit behind the egg.

Then, attach the Bible verse page to each half of the Easter egg with tape.
