How to make an Easy Candy Cane Craft
First, print out the candy cane template onto white paper.
Pour some red paint onto a paper plate (or into a bowl).
Provide your child with a paint brush and show them how to dip into the paint and add the candy cane’s red stripes.
We painted ours with red diagonal lines to mimic classic candy canes.
Kids might enjoy doing a pattern of red and green or their own fun rainbow pattern. Once they are finished painting, set the candy canes aside to dry.
If you like, kids can cut out the candy canes when they are finished. You could also add a splash of sparkle with some glue and glitter if you like.
We kept our project simple today, but if you are feeling a little extra….go for the glitter!
And that’s it! Such an easy Christmas Craft for toddlers and preschoolers!
