Supplies to Make the Preschool Reindeer Antlers
For this simple Christmas reindeer hat craft you will need:
– A printed copy of the Reindeer Headband template
– White Cardstock is recommended for durability, but copy paper works too.
– Scissors (we love this brand of kid safe scissors)
– A Stapler
– Glue Stick

How to Make a Reindeer Headband
First, print out a copy of the Reindeer template printable. I like to print on card stock to make it more sturdy, but regular paper will work as well.
Next, supply your child with crayons or colored pencils to color the Reindeer headband hat. They will need to color both the face of the reindeer as well as the antler and headband pieces.
We colored our reindeer’s head brown and the nose bright red to make a classic red-nosed reindeer. They might like to add a bit of pink to the inner ears of their adorable reindeer.
Then we colored the antlers a skin tone peach.
Now it’s time to cut! Have your child cut out the reindeer headband, antlers, and the strips of paper for the headband.
Using a glue stick, kids can attach the antlers to the back of the reindeer headband.
Next, use a stapler to attach the strips of paper to the template.
Adjust the headband to fit your child and snip off the extra paper.
Now, your Reindeer hat is ready and your child is sure to be bursting with excitement!
