Supplies needed for Paper Bird
For this cute bird craft you will need the following craft supplies:

– Free Bird Template (find it after the tutorial)
– Crayons – we love Crayola brand!
– Scissors – blunt tip Fiskars are our favorite.
– Paper Fasteners (brads)
How to Make an Easy Paper Bird Craft
First, print out the free Bird template on white paper. Provide your child with crayons to color the bird and the legs and wing.
We colored our bird’s body, wing, and tail feathers various shades of blue to create a cute little blue bird. Then, we colored the beak and bird’s legs yellow.
Your child is welcome to use any color they wish. You might like to provide a chart or book of birds, so that kids can see what color different types of birds are.
Next, with child safe scissors, have your child cut out the bird’s body, the legs, and the wing. Smaller children may need assistance with the smaller pieces or rounded corners.
Then have your child glue the legs to the bottom of the bird.
Help your child use a paper fastener to attach the wing to the bird.
And….that’s it! An easy Bird Printable Craft! It’s such a great craft for kids of all ages.
