How to Make Race Car Valentines

First, download the free printable Valentines.

Note: These are for personal use only, not commercial use. Teachers are welcome to use them in their own classrooms, daycares, or church. And of course, parents can use them for their child’s Valentines to hand out to friends and loved ones!

I recommend printing these on a bright white cardstock. You can print on a plain sheet of paper, but they won’t be as durable as they would be on card stock.

After you’ve printed, it’s time to cut them out! These are pretty simple to cut out.

I’m a mom of 4, so I know how annoying it can be to individually cut out rectangles with curved edges.

I’m all about making things simple for you (and me!)

Once they are cut out, have your child write their name on each Valentine card.

(This process IS easier when the cards are cut out, because the kids know how big the space is, so they won’t overflow onto the next card and can find where to write their name easily).

Now it’s time to attach something fun to your cards. Obviously, you could skip this step, but my kids always enjoy giving a small treat to their classmates.

These race car Valentines go well with toy race cars like Matchbox cars or Hot Wheels.

You might be able to find some cheaper options in the party favor section of a store. We used some washi tape to attach ours to the back of the card.

If you’d rather, you could alternatively attach the car to the front. It’s up to you!

A more inexpensive option would be to add a small car themed fruit snack or a simple lollipop. I hope your child enjoys these fun Valentine printable cards!

I hope they make the perfect Valentine cards for your little boy or girl.
