How to Make a Preschool Campfire Craft
First, have kids cut 2 logs from brown construction paper. Ours were about 1.5 inches by 7.5 inches.
Glue the 2 logs onto a white sheet of paper with school glue. We made ours criss-cross like a camp fire.
Next, it’s time to add the fire.
Pour a small amount of yellow, orange, and red paint onto a paper plate. Show the kids how to dip a fork into the paint and stamp it onto the campfire page above the logs.
Encourage kids to print versus paint so that the fork marks show up well.
It’s always fun to see the different patterns the kids create with the fork as they print the campfire flames.
When they are done painting. Let the campfires dry completely.
And…. you’re finished! What an adorable campfire craft activity!
My kids were so proud of their cute camp fires!
