Halloween is quickly approaching. Costumes, an abundance of candy and lots of fun….it’s definitely my children’s favorite time of the year!
And when it comes to candy….candy corn ranks pretty high on my kids’ list of favorites. Such a classic fall treat!
So, I decided to create simple candy corn craft, along with a free printable candy corn template to share with you.
This candy corn template is a simple candy corn shape. The sections are labeled so that kids know where each color goes.
It’s perfect for all your great ideas for candy corn art projects.

Supplies for Candy Corn Craft
For this fun Candy Corn Craft you will need the following simple supplies:
- The Free Candy Corn Craft Template – found at the end of this tutorial.
- Pom poms
- Clothespins
- Yellow and Orange Paint – we like the washable paint by Crayola.
- Paper Plate
- Scissors
Once you’ve got your supplies ready – it’s time to make an adorable candy corn craft!
How to make Easy Preschool Candy Corn Craft
To make this easy candy corn craft, we printed out the free candy corn template onto white paper.
Next, pour a little bit of yellow paint onto a paper plate. Add a bit of orange paint to the plate as well.
Clip the pom poms onto the end of the clothespins.
Dab the pom pom into the orange paint.
Then dot the candy corn section that is labeled orange, with orange paint.
Next, with a different clothespin and pom pom, do the same technique in the yellow section with yellow paint.
Once your kids have finished painting the candy corn craft – it’s time to let it dry!
After about an hour, your candy corn crafts should be dry.
Next, have the kids use scissors to cut around the outside of the candy corn shapes. Once they have it cut out…then it’s finished!
Too cute! These fun crafts make are great Halloween decoration ideas. Plus they are a fun way to celebrate the fall season and the perfect addition to your candy corn activities.
