Supplies to Make the Baby Jesus Christmas Craft

For this simple Christmas nativity craft you will need:

Baby Jesus craft supplies including raffia, crayons, scissors, school glue, paper plate, and printable baby Jesus template

– A printed copy of the Baby Jesus printable template

Crayons

– Regular Size Paper Plate

– Scissors (we love this brand of kid safe scissors)

White School Glue

Raffia or Straw

How to Make the Baby Jesus Craft

First, print out a copy of the Baby Jesus template printable.

Next, supply your child with crayons or colored pencils to color the baby Jesus.

We colored Jesus’ face beige and the blanket on his body blue.

Now it’s time to cut! Have your child cut out the simple outline of Baby Jesus.

Next, have kids color a paper plate yellow to represent the manger to place Baby Jesus in.

Alternatively, you could have kids paint it yellow, or use a yellow plate.

Using some white school glue have kids glue the Baby Jesus to the center of the yellow paper plate.

Next, glue on some raffia or straw to the plate to represent the hay in the manger. Alternately, you could use thin strips of construction paper, brown paper shred, or gold glitter glue for the hay.
