Ingredients

2 Packages of Aleia’s Gluten Free Savory Stuffing Mix

1 lb Jimmy Dean Mild Sausage

2 Large Eggs

1 Medium Onion, Chopped

1 1/4 Cup Celery, Chopped

4oz Canned Mushrooms

2 Cups Chicken Broth

Cooking Spray or Melted Butter

Instructions

  • First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 glass baking dish. You can use melted butter or cooking spray. Next chop a medium onion, you'll need about 1 cup of onion.
  • Then chop about 1 1/4 cup of celery.
  • Pour both of the Aleia’s Gluten Free Savory Stuffing Mix packages into a very large bowl. Add the onion, celery, and mushrooms. Next, add the raw sausage and 2 eggs. Mix gently with your hands.
  • Next add 2 cups of chicken broth. Mix again.
  • Pour into a 9x13 glass pan. Gently form the stuffing mixture into the pan - do not press hard, try to leave it loose and handle it with care.
  • Bake the gf dressing at 350 degrees F for about 40-45 minutes. It should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees and be golden brown on top. If the top of the stuffing is becoming too brown too quickly, add foil to the top to slow the browning process.
  • You can store leftover gluten-free stuffing in an airtight container for 3 days in the refrigerator.
