Ingredients

  • 4 Canyon Bakehouse Gluten Free Sub Rolls
  • 1/2 stick salted butter
  • 1/2 tsp McCormick garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Tone's Italian Seasoning
  • dash salt
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat Broiler on high.
  • Cut the sub rolls in half and place on a baking sheet.
  • Melt the butter in the microwave (on defrost) in a glass container.
  • Once the butter is melted, add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning, and if you like, a dash of salt. Mix thoroughly.
  • Next, spread the butter mixture onto the top of each sub roll.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top of each roll (optional).
  • Broil the bread on high for 1-2 minutes. For best results, watch the bread carefully as it can burn very quickly.

Notes

I did not line my baking sheet, but if you like, you can use foil.  Do not line your baking sheet with parchment paper.  It can ignite on the broiler setting.
