The Perfect Gluten Free Pot Roast Recipe (Slow Cooker)

This tender and juicy pot roast will be a family favorite. It's naturally gluten free and pairs wonderfully with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 3lb Boneless Beef Chuck Roast
  • 3 beef bullion cubes in 1 cup of water
  • 4 fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 3 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: Cut Veggies like carrots and potatoes

Instructions
 

  • First, place your roast in the slow cooker. (If you are adding carrots and potatoes, add them now).
  • Mix the beef bullion cubes with water and add to the slow cooker.
  • Add the chopped mushrooms, onions, and garlic.
  • Sprinkle the meat with the Worcestershire sauce and a teaspoon of Montreal Steak Seasoning.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or until the meat is tender.

Notes

***If you have a different cut of
meat (such as a bottom round roast),
you will need a longer cooking time
than if you have a chuck roast.
For the beef bullion we like to use GF
Herb-Ox but you could also use beef
stock or broth.
